He is a little chunky and occasionally has issues with being able to clean his nether regions. And because of this he sometimes accumulates some poop in his fur.

Ugh!!!

So after cleaning up my desk from some….spots….and conducting other poop maintenance, I had no choice but to tackle the issue of my cat.

So yesterday and today I had to clean my cat’s butt. And yes this was as gross as it sounds but necessary. The poor kitty didn’t know what to do. He kept trying to bite me but is too fat to do so.

I think this means I’ll be able to handle a baby’s diaper when the time comes.

I already knew this, as I fell in love with him the moment we walked into his particular cat room at AAWL almost 8 years ago and he came right up to us and wanted our attention.

But being home this week has completely validated that for me as he has hardly left my side, and has laid next to me on the couch- where I am designated while being sick -almost nonstop. All I have to do is tap the couch and he is there. The other day he even slept on my tummy!

It has been really great just laying there, resting and patting my cat, while Scott takes care of me.

I am very excited about this and made Scott come and look. I think it is a very cute picture of Love Bug and if you want to vote for him, please do!

This totally epitomizes Love Bug’s life. If he’s not sleeping then he’s preparing to sleep or letting us know how tired he is. What a life!

Love Bug absolutely loves his cat tree. We purchased this over 4 years ago and it has gotten lots of use. He especially loves the very top perch, where he is in this picture.
