I totally cannot believe that the Bears traded Kyle Orton for Jay Cutler and gave up two first round draft picks in the process. I honestly believe that Denver got the better deal and will turn out to have a better season without Cutler. I wish Orton well in Denver.

I don’t think Orton’s very good, but I’m not convinced that Cutler’s worth two 1st round picks, plus a player, plus a 3rd-for-a-5th round pick. He certainly doesn’t seem like much of a leader and he’s yet to bring the Broncos to the playoffs. McDaniels managed to mess up the second best thing he had going in Denver (behind an OL system that works pretty well). We’ll see if Cutler can survive life in Chicago.
