Still, I'd be leery of putting too much faith in Cassel at this early stage - he seems like 2008's Derek Anderson. The Pats are locking up a ton of money in their QB position - we'll see what that means for free agency, especially as their defense ages. It'll also be pretty interesting if Scott Pioli leaves - he may be just as responsible for the Patriots success as Belicheck and Brady...
