Yesterday, we spent a wonderful day out in Ironwood Forest National Monument, near Tucson. This is one of the monuments Scott helps to protect through starting Friends Groups and working with the BLM.

Today we visited Inscription Hill, which is a large rock pile that houses a ridiculous number of petroglyphs. Here is one example, which Scott informed me is basically known as ancient pornography as it appears to depict two people having sex. I am not so sure about this but I CAN see where one might get that from. There are amazing petrogyphs at this site and I am very happy to have had the chance to go.

Not that I want anything bad to happen to anyone I know but if this fortune comes true that would be totally cool. I could use a large sum of money. And I am not even picky about what a large sum is, really. Anything more than what I have is a large sum. Just saying. So maybe there is some unknown, rich relative who has been keeping an eye on me and is going to leave me his or her estate. I’m all good with that.

On Friday the 21st, Scott and I got together with our friend Joel for a goodbye and good luck lunch at PF Chang’s. Joel is moving to DC for a wonderful job opportunity and we wish him all the best. The food was delicious as always. We had a great visit, with Scott and Joel sharing details of new jobs, while I remained the boring one with no changes happening in my career. ;-) Time passed too quickly and it was time to say goodbye and have a nice trip and see you soon. Best of luck Joel for all the future holds.

Oh, how I wish there had never been a need for this term! But there was and the media always likes to label things. News is not news unless there is a label. But I digress. Today I read an article from ESPN quoting Belichick saying that there are no new “spygate” issues and that he has talked with the commissioner a second time about allegations that may come up from this Walsh character. I have to say that I am confident he is telling the truth because at this point lying would be well, ridiculous, so I have to hold on to some faith. Lets hope that there is nothing more to it than what the commissioner already discovered and lets move on.
