Really, is this something people HAVE to see?
While in Lake Havasu City for a conference Scott had to attend last weekend (April 11th to 13th) we made the expected trip to see the bridge. We took a walk from the hotel we stayed in over tot he bridge and was again not impressed. It is a bridge like al other bridges, except of course for the fact that it was built in London, bought and then transported to Lake Havasu City. For the purpose of being a tourist attraction. My how we are sheep. We fall right into the traps set for us.
Anyway, Scott and I enjoyed the beautiful night on the 12th by taking this walk up to the bride, then up and down both sides, and finally ended up walking a little bit along the waterfront. Maybe if it had been daytime it would have been better, but somehow I don’t it. But we have now seen the bridge twice in our lives and totally can cross it off our “to do” list.
