The picture is not the greatest (taken with my LG enV camera phone), but it captures how odd my cat is. One night this past week, I was watching TV in the bedroom when Love Bug decided he wanted my attention. After some head scratches, he moved on to laying by my slippers, with his paw inside. How cute!
The Patriots must have decided it wasn’t worth putting the franchise tag on Samuel this year. On Friday, he signed a 6 year deal with the Eagles. I am disappointed as he is a tremendous cornerback who has provided many needed breaks during key games. He has been a solid defensive player and always is a thorn in Manning’s side. And I always like that.
While Scott was away in Denver for business, I indulged my ice cream desires. I have had been craving cold stone for awhile. It was delicious!
The museum director who destroyed the diorama that Highland High students spent 3.5 years and thousands of hours of labor on deserves to have disciplinary action enforced. It is ridiculous that he destroyed the diorama instead of contacting the school and requestion any inaccuracies fixed. What I find most interesting is that he was released from other museums for not following agency policies. Maybe he has an authority complex.
The top rated ASU Baseball program is under investigation for academic fraud and recruiting violations. Not a good sign. It looks lieka f ormer employee and player is making allegations that Coach Murphy was unitlizing players in unapproved ways, i.e. workign for his non-profit. I hope it is inaccurate but if it is true, then the appropriate discipline needs to occur.
On Saturday, I spent several hours with my good friend Jethe and her 4 yea old daughter Natalee. We had lunch at Mimi’s, which is where Natalee found the orange to add some pizazz to her smile. We had a really great day. I always enjoy getting together with Jethe and her kids.
An artic seed fault opened its doors today to house seeds from all over the world in an attempt to maintain food crops in case of extreme climate change due to global warming. Very interesting concept. Glad to see something like this in place.
High school students spent 3 years on this diorama that was given to a museum in Texas, who subsequently dismantled it in a very destructive way, according to the articles I have read. If the diorama was inaccurate in some details, couldn’t they just have asked that it be changed to be completely accurate?
What makes it even more disturbing is that the students followed the description of the battle depicted that was found in a book authored by the person who destroyed it. I always knew Texas was weired!
A dad watches as a “>swarm of bees take over his two dogs, both eventually dying. I can’t even imagine being in this position and not being able to really do anything. Heartbreaking.
Here’s my sweetie this past Sunday in his study. He has been such a great support for me, especially with all that’s been going on with my family. Thanks, babe, for being who you are. I love you.
