ugh!
Will the heat never end?! Phoenix has now seen 32 days of temperatures reaching 110 degrees or higher. Yesterday, it reached 111. If you don’t live in the valley, then it is possible you can’t understand how frustrating this is for those of us who do live here. Sunshine is a wonderful thing. I have always preferred heat to cold. But having so many days of this type of temperature is just … ridiculous. Draining. Hard to handle.
This is a record breaking summer for the valley but I am not fooling myself that this is an unique year. I believe that with global warming we, here in the Phoenix area, will see more and more summer days of temps above 110 degrees, much to our dismay. I hope I am wrong but I don’t think I am. As for now, apparently summer isn’t going anywhere for awhile. Then we’ll have a few months (like 5) before the temps start rising again. Lets keep our fingers crossed that net summer will not be as bad!
